We had a short night's sleep, but a great morning of worship with our friends. It was wonderful time seeing our old friends, hearing songs we know in another language, and having a time of fellowship.
Tonight we had our first meeting of our English group. We had around 35 come, but expect double that tomorow. Many were there for the first time, the rest have attended several times before. The most frequent question was: where are Jay, Jeff, and John! The guys from our February trip obviously made a big impact.
Jaclyn and Gayle quickly saw why I love to come; the people are so friendly and welcoming! They are already making new friends, and getting opportunities to share about themselves. Our goal is to build relationships as we simply speak English and by doing so share the love of Christ.
Please pray for our time with our new friends, that we would be transparent as we speak English, and are sensitive to opportunities to share our faith. We have already been presented with new oportunities to go to different locations, pray for wisdom to manage our time to be where God wants us to be. Finally, pray especially for a good nights rest tonight.
